Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers how H2insight handles the data and information that it receives or collects from website visitors and clients through its websites, H2insight.com and H2partner.com; and how H2insight handles information, including personally identifiable information, that it receives from its clients about their customers.  In this privacy policy, the words “we,” “us” or “H2insight” refer to H2insight, Inc.

 

Information H2insight Collects

In providing contracted services with its clients, H2insight collects survey and other market research data about individuals’ usage of products and services.  This data may be collected though online surveys, telephone surveys and otherwise. The data is provided to and used by H2insight’s clients to improve their products and services.

H2insight does not receive, use or collect personally identifiable information, such as names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, except under the following circumstances:

When an existing or prospective client visits H2insight.com and requests a demonstration of an H2insight product, he or she must provide contact details including person-specific information (name, title, phone number and e-mail address) and organization-specific information (name and address). H2insight uses this information solely for the purpose of contacting the interested party and scheduling demonstrations. H2insight does not share any personally identifiable information collected on its H2insight.com website with outside parties.

H2insight receives, from its clients, personally identifiable information about various customers of its clients, so that H2insight may survey the customers on behalf of its clients. H2insight enters into confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements with clients that legally obligate H2insight to protect the personally identifiable customer information that it receives and to use it only for the purposes specified in the client agreements.  H2insight maintains the confidentiality of customers’ personally identifiable information received from a client under such agreements with H2insight and uses such information solely to conduct customer surveys on behalf of the client and provide the survey responses and data to the client. From time to time H2insight may collect personally identifiable information during a survey, if requested to do so by a client. This personally identifiable information will be shared with the client, and will be used as described in that survey.

H2insight does not collect or receive sensitive personally identifiable information such as: credit card numbers, social security numbers, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership. H2insight does collect demographic information for statistical purposes. Responses to demographic questions are entirely voluntary.

H2insight and its service providers use cookies primarily to identify returning users from the same computer and to ensure the integrity of its research. As part of its basic uses of internet technology to provide surveys, H2insight also collects technical information such as: respondent IP address; the date and time at which respondents access H2insight’s website and respondent HTTP request headers.

H2insight also uses third-party analytical cookies for tracking web traffic and usage.  The use of analytical cookies by our affiliates is not covered by our privacy policy.  We do not have access to these cookies.

 

Protection of Personally-identifiable Information

H2insight is NOT in the business of selling or renting to third parties any personally identifiable information gathered in the course of client work. H2insight shares information with third parties, such as its clients, only as described in this policy or as described at the time information is collected. For example, H2insight may, at the request of a client, ask you for your email address so a client can follow up with you about your responses to a survey. The provision of such information is typically voluntary, and at all times participation in a survey is, of course, voluntary. 

 

Publication of Customer Reviews and Feedback

On behalf of its clients, H2insight, through its websites, H2insight.com and H2partner.com, and in response to its requests made by email, telephone or otherwise, may receive customer reviews and customer feedback about certain products sold or services provided by its clients, and may publish those reviews and feedback in accordance with the customer’s express consent to publication received along with the review or feedback, or may publish these reviews and feedback after notifying the customer prior to submitting the review that by completing the review the customer is permitting its publication. H2insight may also publish customer reviews and customer feedback received or collected by its client through its clients’ websites or otherwise.  Whether these reviews or feedback are collected or received by H2insight or its clients, they may be published on H2insight’s websites and elsewhere, such as client websites, various social media, and third party websites. The content of these customer reviews and feedback are customarily published along with the reviewer’s first name or initials, city and state, unless otherwise authorized or permitted in the reviewer’s consent or permission to publication.  The reviewer’s provision of his or her information and the reviewer’s participation in submitting a customer review or feedback are voluntary.

 

Voluntary Participation

Individuals may choose not to participate in H2insight’s research and are under no obligation to take surveys sent to them.  Individual users may elect to opt out at any time from receiving email from H2insight.  Different methodologies provide for various opt-out options.  Where applicable we inform our clients of the individual customers who request to opt-out from further communication.

 

Access

Customers and respondents may contact H2insight (see Privacy Contact below) at any time if they feel there is an error in their personally identifiable information. Because H2insight generally receives and retains personally identifiable information as an agent of its clients, it will usually refer individuals reporting inaccuracies in their personally identifying information to the originating source for correction.

Subsequent to verifying the identity of a person making a request, H2insight will respond to a request for offline access to personally identifiable information within 30 days of receiving the request.

 

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you services. If you wish to request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at the contact information listed below and we will coordinate with the H2insight client for which the data was collected. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

Third-party Service Providers

From time to time, H2insight may contract with third parties to perform functions necessary for its research operations and, under the terms of those contracts, may transfer data to those third parties. H2insight requires any such third party to maintain the confidentiality of such data.

 

Security

H2insight takes strict physical, technical and procedural measures to keep information secure by:

•Housing data in physically secure facilities that are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week

•Protecting network from inappropriate access through continuous firewall protection, anti-virus protection, and identification, authentication and authorization procedures

•Transmitting certain data securely through secure socket layers (SSLs)

•Encrypting certain data

•Destroying all media and documents containing personally-identifiable information before disposal

•Strictly limiting personally-identifiable information to key personnel and requiring ALL employees and contractors to sign non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements

•Using incident detection, response and escalation procedures

 

Legal Disclaimer

When requested by legal authorities to disclose personally identifiable information, H2insight will inform the court of various factors justifying confidentiality and respondent anonymity. However, H2insight may be required by law to disclose personally identifiable information where judicial or other governmental subpoenas, warrants, or orders are properly issued. Individuals’ unsubscribe option in no way limits H2insight’s use, disclosure or distribution of personally-identifiable information to the extent such use, disclosure or distribution is required by law, court order or other valid legal process.  H2insight will communicate with the affected client as soon as possible, unless prohibited by law or court order.

Links to 3rd Party Sites

Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of H2insight. If you submit personally identifiable information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any Web site you visit.

 

Social Media Features and Widgets

Our Web site and some surveys include Social Media Features or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

 

Children’s Privacy

H2insight does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any individual under the age of 13.

 

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post these changes to the H2insight website. All changes will be posted to this privacy policy, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. The date of last revision will be shown on the website.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by e-mail, or by means of a notice on our home page prior to the change becoming effective.
